Hot off the presses!! A new CEIR Guru Report has been written by Lew Hoff of Bartizan Corporation on Electronic Lead Retrieval (ELR). Understanding who is walking the show aisles and attending the conferences sessions is a paramount success factor for any show – and ELR is the best way to track this crucial information.
Exhibitors and show management are constantly demanding – “Show ME the Attendees!!!” Who are they?
What are they interested in?
Are they the correct persons to influence or buy products?
The list can go on and on.
In CEIR’s new report, Lew explains the relevance and importance of ELR for the exhibitor. This technology goes way beyond the information which is collected on a business card because it offers attendees’ complete demographic information submitted during registration. We asked if an exhibitor would want all the pertinent information available to
1) track down those leads later and
2) make the best exhibiting decisions in the future.
In our conversation, Lew highlighted why show organizers would also use ELR to track who attended sponsored events. In selling sponsorships, the better informed a show can be as to the level of participation, the more easily obtainable the sponsorship. To say to a prospective sponsor, “Your dollars spent here will influence this type of audience,” and then to be able to back that up with empirical evidence from ELR is a powerful thing.
