Let’s Talk – Generationally Speaking

by Genny on October 27, 2009

It’s finally here!  CEIR’s generational study, which has been a year in the making, is now available for free to all CEIR and IAEE members.  Here’s a direct link to download the complete report:

The comments we’ve received from those who have read it have all been positive so far – but we want to hear more.

The purpose of this study is twofold.  First, its objective is to provide a better understanding of how the up-and-coming, younger demographic of attendees to exhibitions thinks and feels about these events.  Secondly, with this report we aimed to provide a clear blueprint for how to produce exhibitions and events that will create a positive, valuable experience for them.

There are dozens of suggestions within the pages of this report for exhibition organizers and exhibiting companies to implement when planning future events – suggestions on what to do and how to do it.

What within its pages surprised you?  What sort of organization do you work for and how can this new research, after examined, directly impact your programming and events?

We want to know what you think.  In addition to this blog, we’ve started a discussion group on LinkedIn in the hopes of engaging readers in a new dialogue about generational planning and marketing…just click here to sign in and check it out.
